Costa Rica Offers More Than Birds
Besides having some of the most beautiful birds in the world, Costa Rica has plenty of other people, places and things to video and photograph. The local culture embraces you with smiling faces and warm welcomes when you arrive. The people are well educated about the offerings of their country and always have some interesting new places in mind for you to discover. Landscapes are diverse, offering incredible views of valleys and mountain ranges full of pineapple and coffee beans. Each small town has its own charm offering some of the most beautiful architecture to enjoy. Take out your landscape wide angle lens and you will be sure to have photographed something special.
On the 2014 Costa Rica tour we led our guests to a small town in Costa Rica called Paraiso, to photograph and take in some of the colorful store fronts and explore the local culture, not to mention taking a break at the local bakery and enjoying some freshly baked desserts and freshly roasted Costa Rican coffee. There is nothing more pleasant than fresh coffee from perfectly roasted coffee beans grown locally.
In addition to the beautiful people and architecture dotting the landscapes, each our jungle lodges offer are tropical gardens full of hidden wildlife for you to explore. From using your macro lens to capture unique cactus, tropical flowers to taking a night walk and photographing tree frogs, nightjars and more. So if you are planning a Costa Rica vacation, be sure to bring your 100-400mm lens, macro lens and wide angle lens along with a tripod since you don’t have to walk far to fill up a memory card.
Happy Shooting!
