At the rate technology is moving, it is difficult to keep up with all the new social media applications from FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, to many photo gallery and photography websites Flickr, 500px, SmugMug, Fredmiranda and more. Facebook is the most commonly used social media platform. You can easily share your image with friends and family. It all depends how much time you would like to spend on other communicating with you and your posts. If you post to many social media applications, you might be overwhelmed by the amount of comments from others.
Whatbird.com is a great website which allows you to search birds, post photographs to help you identify a bird to communicating with other bird and bird photographer enthusiasts.
