Our goal at David Hemmings Photo Tours ( a Natures Photo Adventures Company) is to lead photographic workshops to the some of the world’s most beautiful and unspoiled destinations while providing a rewarding and educational learning experience.

We strive to exceed your expectations, taking you on an adventure and a once in a lifetime experience. Explore nature, share, learn and develop new levels of photographic skills and leave with fantastic photographs and wonderful memories and new found friends. We will teach you the techniques to enhance and improve your current level of photography while providing a safe, unique and enriching travel adventure. Our workshops are designed with a limited number of participants and small group settings for a more intimate and conducive learning experience. They are ideal for photographers, birders, and nature lovers as the opportunities are seemingly endless to see and photograph new species. ​DAVID HEMMINGS: A world-renowned bird photographer who is known throughout the nature photography world for creating some of the most dynamic and impressive bird-in-flight images anywhere today. His work has been published on the cover of National Geographic, Canadian Geographic and has also appeared on the cover of other numerous nature photography publications including Audubon Magazine, On Feathered Wings, Birding Essentials and more
In addition to David's photo passion, he is the President of Natures Photo Adventures. Combining his photo passion, imagination and public relations expertise, he strives to introduce new, exciting and unique photo nature adventures. ​JENNIFER HEMMINGS: With over 10 years of administration, sales and marketing experience, Jennifer organizes the back-office of workshop itineraries, accommodations and accounting of Natures Photo Adventures. Jennifer also co-leads photography workshops and is well experienced with bird in flight, action photography and multi-flash photography.

Len Silvester
Workshop Leader
LEN SILVESTER: Len entered the world of professional photography in action and sports nearly 20 years ago. Capturing images of Motocross, IHRA Drag Racing, Indy Cart Racing, Formula One, PGA and various other assignments throughout North America. With over a million shutter clicks in action packed sports photography his skills have been fine tuned to be ready for any action! In 1998, he began to dedicate more time to Dog Sports photography and it quickly became his passion. Fast forward thirteen years later and archived over two million photos of incredible canines in action playing and competing in Agility, Sheep Herding, Flyball Racing, Disc Dog, Dock Diving and many more canine events at venue across North America and Europe.
In contrast to the non stop action of sports and canine photography Len has always enjoyed photography in natural settings looking for wildlife. In their natural setting a moose in Algonquin Park, a wolf pack in Yellowstone or a majestic Snowy Owl in Ontario can be shared with others through the magic of photography.
