Is it worth being in the cold?
Is it worth enduring that cold Canadian weather you ask? Absolutely and every minute of it. See for yourself. With only two weeks left of our Snowy Owl Natures Photo Adventure this season, our clients have been more than pleased. They have learned new techniques and certainly impressed with our star models, the Snowy Owls. Are you concerned about the snow being too deep or the weather being too cold? Not to worry our photo instructors are happy to carry your gear for you and if you get a chill you can warm up in our heated trucks. Even in the toughest terrain we ensure we don’t leave anyone behind as Len, one of our leaders strapped our guest’s photo gear over his shoulder and pulled her threw the snow on a toboggan. Was it worth it? Yes, it certainly was.
Our professional photo workshop leaders are able to explain complicated photographic technical terminology into simple basic terminology and provide hands-on teaching throughout the workshop. By the end of the workshop you will come home with the how, when and why’s of bird in flight photography. In addition to your newly attained photo talents, you will come home with impressive owl photographs, memories and newly developed friendships.
This year with a large number of both male and female wild snowy owls, our participants were able to get some unique and astonishing photographs. With those yellow eyes staring at you head on and full wing spread all in the frame, who isn’t impressed with their images. Taking advantage of unique photo opportunities when weather is blowing the snow across the fields while an owl eats his lunch just adds a bit of spice to the image.

Testimonial Snowy Owls 2015
“Thank you very much. I loved the owls and enjoyed the workshop leaders and meeting the other workshop participants. Apart from that I had a lovely time and have come away with lots of great photos.
I hope the next set of workshops are as successful. It was wonderful to get so many shots of the male as well as the females.
Very best wishes to you.” Diane
