Mount Evans is one of the best areas for photographing wild Mountain Goats from early June through August.  In early June the lambs are extremely cute but not very agile but as the summer progresses they begin to get more and more agile, standing and jumping from rock to rock and running all over the place.  They are very used to people and fairly easy to photograph.  Along with the Mountain Goats, you will be almost certain to see marmont, pika, various small birds, wonderful wildflowers and landscapes and possibly a golden eagle or a ermine.
